Ok we admit – when our pediatrician recommended a remote sleep consultant, we were skeptical! Thank goodness for Sarah and her infant sleep expertise. Sarah helped us transition our then 3-month old from a night nanny holding to and through sleep every night, to independent sleep within the 2 weeks we worked with her using the 1:1 option.

Now at 6 months, the trend continues! The #1 question we are asked is, “How is the baby sleeping?” – they are amazed when we tell them our baby gets 11 to 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night, with only a handful of exceptions over the past 3 months while traveling or due to teething. We have an exceptionally well adjusted, lively, communicative baby who is developing well, and we believe that healthy sleep plays an important role in the child’s ability to learn, adapt and grow day by day.

Working with Sarah felt like a united team. She prioritizes parents’ desires when determining an approach – such as whether crying is ok or not, or somewhere in between. She considered our desired schedules and helped us weigh pros and cons while designing our plan. She prepared us with information ahead of time, and was very responsive when we had questions or needed to plan for adjustments due to travel plans. She clearly cared about our baby getting restful, healthy sleep and worked to help us ensure that result for our baby. For our part, it was important for us to be prepared for the two weeks and enter data into the sleep app that Sarah provided, as that was our main communication mode. There, we could enter the details of how the baby behaved, and also we could leave questions and have an ongoing dialogue with Sarah as we continued throughout the two week period.

We are impressed by Sarah’s work ethic and certainly by the results – the fact that we have now had 3 months of great sleep is a testament to her expertise and methodology. We wholeheartedly recommend this path to any parent, and we are grateful!

Investing in sleep support with Sarah has been worth every penny. As a paediatric RN I was expecting sleep struggles, however living it day in and day out was so challenging. Henry slept in the Snoo since birth, but as the 4mos regression hit things began to unravel sleep wise. I was terrified of him becoming overtired, napping him too often resulting in too much overall awake time, and responding within seconds of hearing him make a sound to prevent waking. I would sit next to his Snoo at all sleep times ready to pounce to ensure he kept having a restful sleep. My anxiety was sky high surrounding sleep and I would dread bedtime, his habitual 30min wake / 'false start' and overnight wakes. I was getting no sleep. Sarah reviewed our current sleep schedule, made adjustments to Henry's wake windows and nap frequency, but most importantly gave me the support and reassurance that I was not alone in my sleep anxieties. In the past month working with Sarah, Henry has transitioned from his Snoo next to my bed, into his own room, sleeping in his crib and independently falling asleep within minutes. Without Sarah I don't know where we would be today. I am well rested, no longer anxious surrounding sleep and know I can reach out for schedule support as needed should something pop up.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sarah - we love you! goes here

When I saw Sarah’s first post for Swallowtail Sleep it felt like a beacon of light. My 4.5 year old was going through a sleep regression consisting of fear at night and separation anxiety. We had tried everything, literally everything. I was exhausted, frustrated and questioning my parenting skills. I immediately reached out to Sarah and she was quick to respond with reassurance and comforting words…”you are not alone…we will get you and your family through this.” I literally felt my shoulders relax. After explaining our situation, Sarah asked what my optimal outcome was and helped me come up with a plan. While I had tried a lot of the things she suggested, I had not tried them consistently or as part of a larger plan. Those were my missing pieces. What I liked most about Sarah’s program is that she emphasized needing to find something that works best for the child and the family. There is no “one size fits all.” After starting the plan, Sarah was available to talk through issues and pivot as needed. What works for other kids/parents/families, is not what needs to work for me and my family. In the end, thanks to Sarah’s patience and gentle guiding, I realized that what I initially told her I wanted wasn’t what I wanted at all…that plan didn’t work for my family…so we found a new one! Bedtime has become more enjoyable for all of us!

Sarah actually saved us during the postpartum period. We started working with her when our babe was 4 months old and would not nap anywhere but on us, and even that was a fight. I was going back to work soon and was so stressed out about the idea of someone else trying to bounce her for half an hour to get her to sleep.

We had heard about Sarah from a friend and decided to give her a try... couldn't hurt, right? Well it turns out Sarah is an actual wizard. She is so educated and informed about babies' sleep patterns, wake windows, etc. She got our baby napping on her own in her crib in the first week we worked with her... we didn't even think it was possible! Since then, we've gone back to Sarah for the 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 nap transitions, as well as other advice along the way.

Our baby just turned one and I know the last 8 months would have looked so different if we hadn't taken that first step to work with Sarah. We love that Sarah lets us take the lead to do what we know is right for our baby, and is there to give advice and encouragement along the way. We also love that not only does she get the job done, but it's so clear from all of our interactions with her that she also cares so much about each of the babies and parents she works with. We could not recommend Sarah more for any kind of support with sleep. If you're considering working with Sarah, I promise it's the right choice!

It’s hard to put into words how much Sarah has helped our family. We were so lucky to have been referred to Swallowtail by our kind neighbours who’d had amazing success working with her.

We have an 11 month old and he was not sleeping through the night - waking multiple times with unnecessary bottles - so much so, we would just put him in bed with us/ go to bed early when he woke each night at 10pm. Naps were random and completely unreasonable and we were truly exhausted and absolutely stressed out. We didn’t have time to read a million blogs, books or scroll for hours on Instagram for help.

We met Sarah a little over 2 weeks ago and since then it’s changed our lives. Our goals were to get naps on track (figure out what timing suited him best) and to get him to sleep independently at night. She did both!

Not big fans of CIO (Cry It Out), Sarah met us where we were comfortable - building a transition plan just for our son.

Warm, funny, compassionate and super detail- oriented, Sarah was there for EVERY nap and EVERY bedtime for the last two weeks (we chose the 1:1 package). Immediately we connected with Sarah - an important detail when looking for a sleep consultant to work with - she took the pressure off of us and we were able to watch, listen and learn to her coaching.

She will be your biggest asset, your trusted advisor and she’ll make you laugh along the way. You don’t often meet someone as special as Sarah, and we are forever grateful for her. Trust Sarah, trust the process. A million times thank you ♥️

Before I start sharing my experience, I want to say how amazing and caring Sarah is! She’s out of this world

Okay so a bit of a background story to start, my son turned 1 last week and I was still feeding him to sleep which would take between 45 minutes/ 1 hour and then he would wake every 1/3 hours and would not go back to sleep until he was nursed again. I was really at a cross road and seriously sleep deprived as he’s been like this since he was 4 months old.

I then found Sarah and she straight away was there to help (honestly this woman is a superhero without a cape) and she gave me her advise and sleep plan to try and help us start to implement something to help me and my family get some actual sleep.

She advised us to do her sleep wave plan which normally takes 1-2 weeks for it to stick properly. Well we are currently on night 3 and he’s put himself to sleep in under 30 minutes every time. Night 1 was 30 minutes and night 2 and 3 was 15 minutes!! And the best part about it is he slept ALL NIGHT LONG!!!

I honestly can’t thank Sarah enough and everyone should 100% put your full trust in this woman cause she is incredible! Thank you again Sarah for everything ❤️

With each child comes a different sleep need. As the youngest of four, our daughter's sleep patterns need to be flexible with routine, but still provide what she needs for her growth and development. Over the past several months, as she has gotten older and dropped her morning nap, Sarah has provided me with guidance to ensure that M has the best quality sleep while minimizing her feelings of FOMO

I am grateful that Sarah takes into account all aspects of our lives, and personally understands the challenges that occur within a family when your baby isn't getting the sleep he or she needs.

She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and straightforward when it comes to providing information. She adapts to different family dynamics, and is non-judgmental about what families need to do to thrive during these formative years.

Bonus: her social media content is informative and fun, without beating you up mentally. Isn't sleep one of the hardest parts of parenting? It doesn't have to be, with the right support.

    We appreciate you!

Sarah is absolutely amazing!!! She is so kind, so generous with her time, and clearly very passionate about helping families get better sleep. We enlisted her help when we just could not figure out how to help our 4 month old sleep independently. We went from holding him for every nap during the day and him only sleeping 2-3 hour stretches at night to him sleeping completely independently in his crib for all naps and throughout the entire night. She was so patient in finding a method that worked for our family and never pushed us to do anything that didn’t feel comfortable for us. Even when our baby got sick (multiple times ugh, thanks preschool germs!) she was the first to volunteer stopping and starting up again when baby was healthy and when we needed her. She is also an absolute wealth of knowledge- no question of mine was left unanswered! I truly felt like I had a friend by my side throughout this sleep journey who genuinely cared about our family’s well-being above all else. Thank you Sarah!!! We are forever grateful to you!

I can't say enough great things about Sarah with Swallowtail Sleep. My second was not a great sleeper, I thought I could manage to figure out his sleep on my own because I had done it with my first and I had also looked up so much research behind infant sleep. But after 6 months I was exhausted from waking up at least 2-3 times every night, so I finally decided I needed professional help. I have followed Swallowtail Sleep on IG for sometime and I really enjoy the content, so when Sarah offered "Group Sleep Training" I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Within just TWO DAYS my son was only waking up once a night. By the end of our two weeks together, my son actually slept through the night (for the first time ever!!!) and now I can confidently put him down awake for all sleep knowing that he will put himself to sleep. Sarah is a wealth of knowledge and I cannot recommend her enough. Her guides are fantastic - well put together, easy to read and so informative. She also offers many different sleep training methods, she is not a "one size fits all" type of consultant. If you're on the fence, this is your sign to just do it! You won't regret it.

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Sarah. We opted for the 2-week, 1 on 1 support option as our then-7-month-old was having a tough time with naps and overnight sleep. Sarah was able to take us from feeding-to-sleep (often taking 30+ minutes) with multiple (we're talking 3-5) overnight wake-ups, to putting into crib awake and 1 (or 0) wake-ups overnight in the 2 week period.

I was very against CIO and Sarah made us a personalized plan on how to slowly break the association with feeding-to-sleep, which felt way more gentle for our baby (and for us!). She also helped us transition from 3 naps to 2, and our baby is now napping consistently and is able to be put into crib awake for naps. This has been a game changer for us as there was always a lot of anxiety/trepidation around nap time -- it would take 10-20 minutes to sing/rock/sway her to sleep prior to working with Sarah, and then we would have to pray she'd stay asleep on transfer, or risk getting nap trapped for 1-2 hours at a time.

The changes that Sarah helped us implement have honestly been life-changing and have helped my husband and I have more 1-on-1 time together, and have more sleep! I have already recommended Sarah to many of my friends, and I would be quick to reach out to Sarah with future sleep questions/concerns. She was never judgmental, pushy, or negative when it came to coaching us through these changes. She supported our decisions on how slowly or quickly we wanted to move, and rather than implementing rules without input from us, she would consistently check in with us to make sure we were comfortable. For the TL;DR crowd: Sarah is extremely knowledgeable, efficacious, kind, and adaptable. 100% would recommend.

If I could give Sarah 10 stars, I would! We did her 1:1 support package with our 14 month old. We were heavily supporting her to sleep, which meant I spent 60-90 minutes in her room every evening. She was waking in the middle of the night and screaming until we co-slept with her. Nobody was sleeping well, my husband and I were stressed, and we missed spending time together in the evenings.

Within 8 days, our daughter was putting herself to sleep within minutes with minimal tears and sleeping 12-14 hours overnight, with no wakes!

I felt confident in Sarah's sleep plan for our family, but I honestly didn't expect it to work so quickly. It's now been 2 weeks since our support ended and she's still sleeping through the night every night.

Sarah's services are custom and thoughtful and backed by incredible research and experience. The cost was incredibly reasonable for the amount of service we received.

I'm recommending Sarah to anyone who will listen! The 1:1 support was worth every single penny. She's a wonderful human with an incredible gift.

It’s impossible to summarize the impact that Sarah has made on our life and sleep. When we started working with Sarah I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Our 4 month old was waking every hour at night and would only nap during the day in a carrier. My mind and my body were breaking down and I was on the cusp of returning to work. Each night my husband and I dreaded when it would get close to bedtime, we knew that we were in for a stressful night of no sleep and we didn’t know what to do to help our son. We had to hire a night doula to help us get sleep each week which was wildly expensive and unsustainable.

Each night our soon would be swaddled, bounced to sleep, using a binky, in our room, and would require so many false starts. Typically from when we would start to put him to sleep to when he would actually fall asleep for the first time it would be about 2 hours later.

The support that Sarah provides is so bespoke to your child’s temperament, needs, and development. Sarah’s plan was extremely thorough and after our initial kick off call to review our 1:1 plan, she patiently answered every question we had. I think what is important to remember throughout the process is that sleep isn’t linear and with Sarah’s plan you take everything a day at a time. Based on our son’s behaviors and how he was responding to our adjustments, in real time Sarah would make tweaks to his timing and our approach. After working with Sarah I have absolutely no anxiety at all, my baby is so much happier, and we are all getting better sleep.

The first time that I had to put my son down to sleep solo, Sarah was with me the entire time minute by minute. She walked me through exactly what to do, answered my questions, and made me feel so supported. She truly is your champion.

What’s great about having a sleep consultant in your pocket is that in real time as things would happen - like waking up from a nap early, we didn’t panic not knowing what to do. We would mark/message in the Rested app and Sarah would tell us exactly what to do. It takes a huge mental load off your shoulders when all the calculations and troubleshooting is handled for you.

As the parent, you do need to be committed to the process and be meticulous about adhering to the new schedule changes and adjustments. With dedication to adhering to Sarah’s plan, you will absolutely reap the benefits.

I have to admit I had somewhat of a mindset of, “there is no way my baby will be able to do this,” because of how difficult sleep was for him. Time and time again he did incredible and proved us wrong. I learned so much about my son and his needs during this process. I thought he needed a super hands on approach and in actuality all of my interventions were just heightening him and making him more upset. While working with Sarah we transitioned him to a sleep sack, moved him into a crib in his own room, eliminated the binky, and now set him down awake. He is thriving.

Sarah also has a way of gently suggesting what she thinks your baby needs without ever pushing you. For quite a few days Sarah shared that she thought our baby would benefit from being in his own room for a myriad of reasons but I was slightly hesitant to no longer have him in our room. When we moved him into his room, he LOVED it and slept so much better. Sarah never pushes you to do a step you’re not comfortable with but I have to say she is always right :)

Of course there will always be ups and downs with our son’s sleep but I feel so much more equipped to handle them now. I didn’t want to end my 1:1 support and extended it quite a few times but have now transitioned to email support which I plan on keeping indefinitely so that I can access Sarah’s incredible brain along the way to help as my son’s sleep changes and develops.

I couldn’t recommend Sarah more highly, if you are considering working with her, it’ll be the best thing you do!Description goes here

Sarah is hands down, the most wonderful, caring, and magical baby sleep expert and consultant out there.

As someone who is a former perfectionist, straight-A student whose coping skills are manic researching and planning for all contingencies, I had been trawling the Internet for every and all sleep advice for our son. As a first-time mom, I was dreading the sleepless nights that everyone was warning me about, and wanted to do everything I can in my power to help my son and myself get the sleep we both needed.

I have read Precious Little Sleep, Happiest Baby on the Block, etc. and followed a lot of sleep trainers on instagram and other places. Sarah was the only sleep trainer and consultant that I genuinely felt like was someone who CARED. Sarah sounded so reasonable in a reddit AMA that I found her in—she never pushed for one method over the other (while so many sleep consultants out there are very rigid about what you should and shouldn't do), all of her reasoning behind whatever method she recommended was based on sleep science and thorough analysis of all the data points she had in front of her—but most importantly, Sarah sounded so SINCERE.

Every other sleep consultant account or advice I saw online had always had a twinge of "buy my course or else you will never sleep ever again" fearmongering or a one-size-fits-all-this-should-work-for-your-child-or-something's-wrong-with-you approach that I never really felt comfortable with. Sarah felt like a friend—an older sister I never had—that just happened to be a sleep expert as well, and she really only wanted to give sound advice based on her knowledge of your child's needs, temperament, schedule, and all other data points. She was so kind to actually respond to any questions I asked on her instagram profile for free, and honestly, I wanted to have Sarah's help with all the numerous ebbs and flows of change that comes with a growing baby's sleep needs.

I’ve had success following Sarah’s DIY plan, and I’ve consulted Sarah several times on some issues that were very unique for our son that I couldn’t figure out on my own after digesting her content. I am confident that if we’re hit with any regression or schedule curveball that baby sleep throws at us in the future, I can always reach out to Sarah for help. Even if you’re someone who thinks they don’t NEED a sleep consultant, Sarah will be a great resource to have no matter how big or small your baby’s sleep issue is. Her fees for her services are so reasonable (almost too reasonable), and you’ll get so much out of working with her compared to every other sleep consultant on social media and elsewhere. No "sleep class" or "guide" out there will compare to the thoughtful guidance Sarah can provide

I truly consider Sarah as part of my “mom village,” and I’m truly thankful I found her and have her in my motherhood journey. I can’t thank her enough always.Description goes here
